Meet our professionals CGI: An employer of choice Position Description: If you are a hands-on System/Cloud Engineer who is motivated by helping clients maintain and improve their existing COTS and custom systems and supports modernization efforts then CGI is looking for you. Your future duties and responsibilities: The System Engineer will be a part of a team of developers, analysts and testers to build cloud-native system. The candidate will be knowledgeable in application development, software best practices, cloud, and Agile methodology. You will also:* Support platform and administration, support script development, performance tuning, pipeline integration * Work directly with client at the client site in Arlington, VA* Leverage standard DevOps tools / processes, maximizing what is available. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:* Experience with Cloud Foundry Support platform and administration (or other comparable cloud technologies)* US citizen with uninterrupted & verifiable working history * Experience with Configuration Management* Work effectively with cross-functional team members and client-internal IT organizations* Application production support experience* Agile, devops experience* Experience with monitoring systems* Experience with virtualization and containerization* Experience with automation software* Experience with JSON objects* Experience with performance tuning* Experience with pipeline integration Skills:* Cloud Computing* Java* Jenkins What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
