Meet our professionals CGI: An employer of choice Position Description:* In support of a law enforcement agency, will contribute to the development of a new system built on a custom .NET platform. * The Sr. Developer is responsible for conducting development of various components for the new enterprise planning application. * Duties may include developing interfaces and other scheduling functionality using .NET.* Overall responsible for developing .NET software. * The Sr. Developer will work to provide the agency a situational web application for scheduling functions. Your future duties and responsibilities:* Designs, develops, enhances, debugs and implements software. * Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. * Researches, tests, builds and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. * Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.* Evaluates effectiveness. * Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms. * Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. * Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. * Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. * Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. * Acts as team leader on projects. * Instructs, assigns, directs and checks the work of others on the development team.* Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:* Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. * At least 5 years of .NET development experience.* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education. Desired Skills: * Current USSS EOD or active DHS EOD or active DoD Secret.* Prior experience working for/on federal client site.* LI-MC3 What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
