Who You Are A US citizen with the ability to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Have a BS or equivalent in computer science or a related field. Have 3 years of experience in the security domain. Identify multiple creative solutions to problems, including the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, and ways to measure results. Solutions You Provide Research Focused Development - Research is an open-ended difficult problem. It requires developing new techniques and tools for tasks that have never been done before. Can you develop a new tool to test a technique? If it works, then you have now pushed forward human knowledge. If not, then figure out why it didn't work, and then start again. Are you willing to learn new tools, techniques, languages and then apply them in new and interesting ways? Working with a team to develop new technologies to solve real-world problems, now. CNO Development - Do you have experience with CNO and CNE tool implementation and testing? A good understanding of network operations and the operational life cycles of these tools? Do you have knowledge of current tools and techniques, including how and why are they going to break? Within this position, you will be integrated into a multi-disciplinary team to help them pivot away from, "this is how it's always been done" towards "this is the right way to do it."
