Position Overview: This is a great opportunity to get into a growing business in an exciting industry - risk and threat management. As a Sales Development Representative you'll be our company's first impression. You'll identify sales opportunities, create interest and drive brand and solution awareness. You will be primarily responsible for generating new business by vetting prospects, setting appointments and identifying qualified opportunities for our field salesforce. You'll conduct high-level conversations with senior executives at global organizations about their business, risk issues and operations. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and driven team player who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and a consummate professional over the phone, email and social touchpoints. This position has advancement potential within the organization, and the compensation package includes a bonus structure. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities: Vets and fully-qualifies marketing and inbound sales leads and drives outbound prospecting initiatives and campaigns assigned Executes proven and methodical processes to generate new sales opportunities Effectively articulates WorldAware's value proposition to potential buyers Professionally interacts with senior-level prospects via phone, email and social media to accurately assess needs and generate interest Meets or exceeds monthly targets for qualified opportunities Documents all prospect interactions in Salesforce.com database This job is for you if You thrive on talking to new people and building rapport You're a go-getter and motivated by goals You're professionally competitive You have grit, a positive outlook and passion to succeed You see yourself in a sales-oriented career, and want to learn and hone some great sales skills to get there Experience, Functional and Technical Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: Bachelor's Degree Some experience with business to business sales or business development Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check Skills/Abilities: Clear communication style and great phone manner Strong organizational skills, quick responsiveness, and ability to act with a sense of urgency Attention to detail A commanding desire to learn and succeed in consultative selling Ability to write succinct, crisp and persuasive emails Ability to create a positive and professional impression Have interest in learning new things and the ability to get along with a diverse team Be goal oriented and work diligently towards those goals Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
