Forensics Coach/Administrator
The George Mason University Department of Communication seeks a Forensics Coach/Administrator.
George Mason University Forensics was established in 1971 and consistently places in the top five nationally. The program has also become an integral part of the mission and vision of George Mason University.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be expected to coach, travel, perform administrative duties, and recruit from both the high school and community college forensics circuits. Additional responsibilities include co-directing college forensics tournaments, and assisting with planning a forensics summer camp and a high school speech and debate tournament. Participating in forensics community committees is also expected.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BFA, etc.), or an equivalent combination of education and experience; * Significant forensics/individual events experience; * Strong organizational skills, proficiency in online tabulation programs, and facility with social media and team promotional efforts; * Strong commitment to collegiality and university/forensics community service.

Preferred Qualifications: * Collegiate forensics/individual events experience; * Significant experience coaching forensics/individual events.
