We are adaptive and agile, in order to meet the emerging needs of our specialized clientele.A' We strive to build a culture of excellence, to build a team of the best people, equipped with the best skills and technical support to deliver results that exceed expectations, even the most difficult circumstances.A' A' Overview Imperative Systems is seeking Electricians to support the installation of complex technical security systems in government facilities.A' Successful candidates will fully integrate into existing project teams conducting ongoing operations in support of a vital security mission.A' Work Location Alexandria, VA.Travel:A' A' This position requires approximately 75% travel to overseas locations.Work Environment:A' A' Typical assignments are frequently performed in both internal and external environments with a variety of weather conditions.A' Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirtA' is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE).Citizenship/Passport/Security Clearance:A' A' The candidate must be a US citizen with anA' active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET.Position RequirementsOne to three yearsA$ cents A' €A' (TM) relevant work experience with an electronics/systems background. Must possess excellent communication skills and have a Journeyman or Master Electrician License. A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Work on complex integrated security systems at sensitive Government facilities.A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Complete BOMs and power/signal runs.A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Analyze and design electrical requirements needed to support the installation of electronic security equipment.A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams and other specifications to determine installation procedures.A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Plan new or modify designs to minimize waste of materials.A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Design easy access for future maintenance and with cost mitigation.A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Perform electrical installations based upon specifications, NEC codes, application guidelines and DS-standards.Candidates must have experience installing technical security equipment on complex security system projects, including experience in:Security system programmingSoftware House, Hirsch, Cinch systemsCCTVAccess ControlA' Physical Requirements In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.A' Routine lifting of objects 50-80 pounds such as drills, conduit benders, pipe threaders, cable pullers, and other equipment related to the electrical trade.A' Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.A' Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment.A' Equal Opportunity Statement Imperative Systems LLC provides equal opportunity to all applicants for employment as required by and/or consistent with applicable country law and company policy.
