Position title - Construction Account Executive, SalesLocation - Washington DC & Northern VirginiaPBI is seeking a Construction Account Executive responsible for adding new clients and maintaining existing clients within the Washington DC Metro and Northern Virginia territory. The Account Executive will accomplish this by actively prospecting for and acquiring new clients, setting and attending appointments within their territory, presenting PBI's services and unique abilities, and closing new business. Construction industry background with emphasis on business development and sales in commercial building and a proven history of winning new business in the private sector is preferred.A' We are looking to grow our teams with people who share our energy and enthusiasm for creating the best experience and the best projects for our clients. Build your future, achieve long term stability and join our expanding and energetic team.Duties include:A' Identify and generate new business opportunities through sales activities such as prospecting, territory planning, cold calls, and relationship building.Schedule and attend prospective client meetings to uncover their needs, budget and decision process and present PBI solutions and special abilities. Maintain existing client relationships with regular phone contact and meetingsAttend regular sales meetingsAchieve or exceed mandatory sales business performance metrics on a quarterly basis. Produce $2MM per year in revenue (at a minimum after year one)Attend sales training classesPrepare RFP responses (team based)Proposal writing (team based)A' Document daily sales activities utilizing the Contact Record Management system (Zoho), including all contacts, activities, appointments, and leads.Follow up on referralsFollow up with clients for project quality controlOccasional construction project site visitsA' This position occasionally requires the handling of some specialty equipment and materials. Lifting or carrying 75 pounds, loading and unloading equipment and supplies will be required. Must be able to work from and carry all types of step ladders, A-frame ladders and extension ladders by oneself. Candidate must be able to pass a respiratory fit test and pulmonary physical.Requirements:Experience level (minimum)- 3 Years B2B Sales ExperienceClean DMV record, criminal background check and pre-employment drug test required.A' American citizenship and currently residing in the Northern Virginia, Washington DC territory is necessary.A' Computer proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as proficiency with CRM database/s are essential along with organizational, communication and social skills.PBI offers a competitive Salary and Commission Plan, Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Plan benefits where employee is covered at 100%. 401(k) Plan, Profit Sharing and Pension Plan with generous employer contributions.
