An active secret (DoD) security clearance is required. Key ResponsibilitiesThe AWS Cloud Developer will work on the design, development and delivery of a Data Lake and data pipeline architecture using AWS services and Informatica tools, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will also perform technical analysis, data analysis, ETL design, ETL development, and testing to support stakeholder requirements and user stories.Required Education + Experience:Bachelor"A cents " cents s degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training or work experience.Programming/Scripting experience with Python, Linux scripting, BASH.Five years of hands-on experience working with AWS Web Services (S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Athena, AWS Glue, SageMaker) and a good understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices.Experience in data lake design, profiling, and conceptual modelingExperience with ETL development using AWS GLUEAdvanced knowledge of SQL and scripting tools for automation such as R, Python, etc.Familiar with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, AWS CodeCommit or similar toolsExperience with data integration, ETL and data warehousing;Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases;Hands on knowledge and experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, SNS, SQS, Athena and cloud native application development.Experience with provisioning and configuration tools like AWS Cloud FormationDesired Education + Experience:Familiarity with AWS Step functionsFamiliarity with BI tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight)CompTIA Security +, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Linux LPIC1, Oracle DBA and DOD 8570 Certification a plusMacro Solutions is a woman-owned IT and management consulting firm that helps government organizations select, implement, integrate and maintain critical business solutions.
