Responsibilities / Activities:DescriptionProject Description:The Cyber and Network Security Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project and associated milestones, success, and acceptance criteria for the assessment and implementation of enterprise cyber and network security projects, specifically focused on firewall governance technology and firewall policies. Candidate must have proven track record in project management and implementation of enterprise technology tools. The PM will work closely with project, internal cross-functional resources, vendors, change management, along with other teams as needed, to ensure that the project tasks are placed, tracked, and delivered according to project timelines.Candidate must be able to proactively work to set customer expectation to assure a smooth project including project timeline, requirements, and critical dependencies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities and project/program management experience with demonstrated history of working with large, complex technical projects requiring sizeable change management efforts. In addition, projects may include supporting enterprise platforms, infrastructure, and network engineering teams.Essential Functions:Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end: including product identification, selection, proof of concept, implementation, operationalization, process enhancements, and organizational change management.Produce timely and high-quality work products in support of technology projects, including scope, project plans, project schedules, requirements specifications, meeting minutes, test plans, test scripts, and other deliverables.Contribute to or write a Request for Proposal (RFP), develop and organize evaluation process, coordinate vendor demos, and manage product selection.Prepare project status reports and financial reporting, weekly and as requested.Create and deliver presentations to senior management on project goals and plans, progress reporting, updates, milestones, metrics, risks and issues.Organize and facilitate project planning, status meetings, reviews, requirements and release planning, and other project-related meetings.Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core systems, technologies, and technical platforms.Understand the relationships, dependencies, and impact of neighboring business functions and projects.Must Have Technical Skills:5 to 7 years of relevant project management experience.A' Base understanding of the following:A' o Layers of the OSI modelA' o ITIL change management processes and associated technology-enabled workflowsA' o Technology asset management conceptsA' o Firewalls and similar devices that inspect network trafficA' o Purpose of an application/tool APIA' o Steps required to identify, evaluate, and select a technology productA' o Principle of least privilegeA' o PCI DSS 3.2 and ISO 27001-27002 standardsA' o Simple conditional logic concepts (eg, If-Then, loops)A' o Project management concepts such as WBS, dependencies, milestones, and issue/risk trackingA' Defined, coordinated, and led a phased project and process for:A' o Implementing a new technology tool.A' o Implementing or enhancing technology processes in a workflow solution. (Service Now experience is desirable)A' Functional understanding of stateful inspection and firewall access control policies. Capable of describing the components of a firewall access policy.A' Experience in documenting project approach and related / supporting details in diagrams and graphical PowerPoint slidesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
