Through scientific rigor, and a compassion born of Dr. Howe's more than 30 years caring for patients, AgNovos is pioneering novel, investigative treatments for osteoporosis."A cents € 1For inquiries regarding this position, please contact Xinzhu Cupko, Senior HR Generalist at careers@ or call 240-753-6461.Summary of position:Dynamic role supporting all aspects of the legal, compliance and corporate secretary functions for the company; reporting to the VP, Finance and Compliance; involving frequent interaction and collaboration with company leadership, external partners, and outside counsel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Contract Lifecycle Management:Support maintenance of a contracts database and lifecycle management system; provide regular updates of key contract deadlines/auto-renewals/ and projected expirationsSupport maintenance of library of standardized form documents, contract clauses, and templatesDevelop and maintain financial and legal obligation trackersManage flow of contracts and legal matters through review and approval process, including communicating and collaborating with business ownersCorporate Governance:Prepare and maintain governance documents and board recordsHealthcare Compliance:Work closely with AgNovos' Compliance Committee to develop appropriate policies and processes for ensuring compliance with applicable law and industry standards for interaction with patients and healthcare professionalsAssist with daily operations of the compliance systemGeneral operational assistance for Legal, Compliance and Corporate Secretary functions, and any other tasks as assignedSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited schoolMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have excellent organization skill and attention to detailsMust be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word and ExcelMust possess demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask, while effectively planning future activitiesMust possess strong sense of professionalism, discretion and apply sound judgement2-4+ years of corporate paralegal or contracts management experience either in a law firm or in-house environmentMust have excellent reading comprehension, writing and critical thinking skills
