We are looking for candidates to help shape the culture and support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities for growing, entrepreneurial companies in Boston and Washington DC This includes overseeing all aspects of human resource practices and processes, including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee benefits and compensation, and compliance with State laws and regulations. You will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resource policies, programs, and practices with senior management. The world of organization and structure is your happy place, as you will be responsible for new hire, termination, and change of status with our payroll service, as well as helping managers evaluate productivity and performance. You enjoy details and work closely with senior management to manage compensation and benefits for employees. You can analyze wage and salary data and reports to determine competitive compensation plans and can identify key performance indicators and assess our success and market competitiveness based on these metrics. You are an excellent communicator and problem-solver. You like people and enjoy helping them resolve disputes, find common ground, and navigate situations. You write well and can keep people informed across the organization, update our newsletter, employee handbook, company policies, job postings, and other documents as needed. Compliance is your friend. You have an understanding of HR best practices and can implement structures and processes to maintain stability as it grows.
