Oversees all aspects of intermediate sized projects or components of larger projects.Provides project management support. Provides assistance to Lead Business Analyst and Product Manager in managing costs, budgets, vendor management relationships, contract negotiations, RFP's and the development and implementation of best practices.Mentoring/non-supervisory level support of System and Associate System Architect. Under general direction responsible for the design, testing and implementation of server, storage and backup hardware, new operating systems, and escalation point to the Sr. Solution Architect.Responsible for problem management, change management and service requests.Oversees and/or performs testing of operating system and/or hardware upgrades/patches and ensures that upgrades are communicated and delivered to the customer base in a timely and quality manner.Uses advanced knowledge of software, computers, networking, and internet functionality in relation to products/customers supported. Efficient knowledge in PowerShell, VB Scripting and Layer 1-5 of the OSI Model.Responsible for capacity planning.

Six years experience accepted in lieu of BS Degree.Will work with hardware and software. Must be able to lift and install hardware. Weekend and after-hours work is required on an as needed basis. Analyzes customer needs, evaluates operating system software releases and/or new hardware products and gives recommendations to improve processes and decrease operating expenses. Acts as a liaison and provides oral and written communication between the customer base and other areas within the Information Technology departments. Responsible for the communication of server operating system and hardware issues, requirements and enhancements. Notifies customer base of scheduled and unscheduled network or server down times.
