HDFS Adjunct Faculty (Spring 2020 semester)
The Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) program: invites applications from highly qualified Adjunct Faculty for course assignments. George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.
Responsibilities: Instructors would work in the HDFS undergraduate program including courses in Individual and Family Services Delivery and Family Law and Public Policy. Coursework is offered in a variety of learning formats, including online, hybrid, and face-to-face, with day, evening, and weekend schedules.
Required Qualifications: * Master's degree in HDFS or a related content field; * Appropriate content expertise in HDFS courses; * University teaching experience; and * Relevant practitioner-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: * Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential through the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) * doctoral degree in HDFS or a related field
