This is structural and craft work in painting, plastering, and finishing surfaces of buildings with paint, wallpaper, plaster, varnish, or other coating material. Responsibilities include performing skilled painting tasks in accordance with standard practices of the trade and other duties as assigned. Lead worker responsibilities may be exercised over one or more helpers. This is structure and craft work involving rough and finish carpentry. Work includes performing skilled hand and bench carpentry duties including the operation of power driven woodworking machinery. Work assignments are received in the form of oral or written instructions, sketches, or plans. Work is performed under general supervision.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• High school diploma.
• Three to five years experience in all phases of carpentry.
• Knowledge of and ability to install and maintain locks and door closures (preferred)
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Accepts responsibility and able to work independently.
• Flexibility in working under adverse conditions.
• Familiar with carpentry and general mechanical tools.
• Ability to drive pick-up, flatbed trucks and vans.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with President and other Administrative staff, Department Directors, Managers, Supervisors and to respond to directives.
• Ability to interact appropriately with all staff, patients and visitors.
