Responsibilities will focus on performing operations and maintenance tasks for the Platform, Data and Application Administration team within the Division of Information Technology.

The Web Administrator will be responsible for providing infrastructure support for the Division’s Drupal Hosting service including deploying security patches, upgrades and providing a base level support for site owners to determine if issues are site or infrastructure related. The administrator will also manage, monitor and update the Wordpress platform; manage Google Sites and the corresponding access requests and permissions. The Web Administrator will be responsible for all interactions with hosting clients and will work with ServiceNow administrators to support the hosting clients Drupal Dashboard. The Web Administrator will collaborate with infrastructure team to diagnose and remedy issues and to provide a stable platform; ensure web design and infrastructure complies with security requirements. The admin will participate in new service adoption and integration of services with cloud provider SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions.


Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field of study or equivalent experience;


5 years’ experience with a variety of Web application platforms like Apache, Tomcat, and other J2ee application servers.

Proficiency administering Drupal sites.

Proficiency with Git and Drupal development technologies such as Drush.

Proficiency in web development using HTML5, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience creating and maintaining websites built on WordPress and standard HTML.

Good understanding of networking: HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, routing, certificates, load balancing, high-availability systems.

-Strong problem solving skills and ability to work concurrently on multiple projects.
-High proficiency of command line in a UNIX/LINUX environment.
-Effective written and verbal communication skills.  

Additional information: seeking a talented PHP/LAMP Web developer to support existing and build new PHP Web applications. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive PHP5/MySQL development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly. This position does not provide sponsorship for Visas.

Salary range: $84,200 - $101,000


Physical demands:   sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
