Responsibilities

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible assisting the United States Attorneys, Supervisory Assistant United States Attorneys and the United States Attorneys' Offices staff by coordinating, directing and supervising the Legal Management Administrative Operations and Financial Litigation evaluations of the United States Attorneys Offices. Typical work assignments will include:
  • Making recommendations for the improvement enhancement and streamlining of programs;
  • Serving as lead analyst and coordinator of the automation, technology and coordination needs of the Management Development program;
  • Advising and participating in discussions with supervisors and key officials about the planning, policies and approaches to be used to promote overall effectiveness and efficiency of operations;
  • Planning and executing a variety of special projects and assignments for the program;
  • Providing technical oversight of the Surveys and Analysis Package [SNAP] software used to management development participants and conduct ad hoc surveys for feedback;
  • Serving as the technical point of contact for the Evaluation and Review Staff Management Development;
  • Providing a wide variety of management and analytical support services to the Assistant Director with respect to the spectrum of evaluation, review and training programs; and
  • Responsible for program review and analysis for 93 attorney and 94 staff offices involving problem or issue definition, identification of the nature and source of relevant information, collection of data, analyses using appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques and formulation of alternatives and recommendations.

Qualifications

GS-14: To qualify at the GS-14 level you must have at least ONE full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience involved performing the following types of duties: analyzing and evaluating effectiveness of program operations, manipulating data within spreadsheets in order to perform calculations, build diagrams and charts and run reports, and sufficient knowledge and expertise to develop and deliver management training.
