CLINICAL RESOURCE MANAGER

We are an organization combining the resources of care coordination to offer a comprehensive approach to caring and serving and empowering people. We are in search of a Registered Nurse to work in the role of the Clinical Resource Manager. This person is responsible for leadership and day-to-day operations of admissions, case management, social work, discharge planning, utilization review, interpreter services, chaplain program and denial prevention and recovery.

Job Functions: Develops, recommends and participates in the formulation of policies and procedures; Directs and manages day-to-day operations; Participates in the development of an annual plan for the activities of the department; Develops, implements and evaluates specified components of the department to ensure efficient utilization of resources; Works with department staff to develop innovative programs and procedures; Participates in the development of an enterprise-wide care coordination plan; Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement proactive discharge planning; Identifies and makes recommendations to process improvement, performance improvement and outcome measures for the facility; Develops a department dashboard with performance indicators for regular reporting; Develops a comprehensive denial prevention and recovery program; manages, supervises and evaluations department staff.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive management experience in case management, Utilization Review.

Active DC Registered License.

Bachelor's degree in health administration, social work, nursing or business administration.

MSN, MBA, MHA or similar advance degree required.

Supervisory experience required.
