The Systems Analysis, Professional supports PeopleSoft Financials at Freddie Mac. The position participates in the full life cycle of a project which includes identification of requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.

Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories:


  • Analyze business requirements to independently convert them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications
  • Review technical designs to ensure accurate and complete translation of business requirements
  • Develop test cases to fully test requirements
  • Execute and evaluate test results and resolve defects

  • Develop accurate functional and technical work estimates
  • Prioritize assignments and working independently to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets customer expectations
  • Analyzing business requirements independently to be able to propose solutions, identify impacts, risks and issues, and work with technical and business staff to implement proposed solutions

Technology Partnership
  • Work closely with the business partner and IT partners
  • Establish and maintain strong functional relationships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Identify and recommend new technology solutions


  • 2+ years of extensive experience with PeopleSoft Financials gathering requirements from the business, and translating those into functional documentation
  • 2+ years of experience using PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Test Framework, and PS query
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of directly related work experience working with PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Experience creating, executing, and validating test cases for the system enhancements as part of scheduled releases
