The Estimator/Project Manager will design, price and submit proposals as well as manage projects with the Field Technicians and follow up with customers on current proposal status. The right individual will be responsible for estimating the correct labor and materials off of blueprints for projects ("takeoffs") using computer estimation software. The right candidate should meet the following:Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plusMust have at least 5 years' experience as an electrical estimator and project management in the commercial tenant/retail construction industryPrior experience managing and supervising staff is highly preferredMust have at least 5 years' prior experience as a field electricianConEst and SimPro software experience highly preferredMust be computer literate and be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel)Must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projectsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to pass a drug/alcohol and background screen us:Walter Electric is the fastest growing electrical contractor in the area.
