Meld your classroom educational experiences with the exciting world of broadcasting at WBFF. We currently have a sales/marketing internship available for the Winter/Spring 2020 semester. This exciting opportunity will offer the student a chance to gain an understanding of media sales through observational learning and hands-on experience. Students will experience the sales process from start to finish, including prospecting new advertisers, research, marketing, proposals, closing a deal, writing a sales order, and client retention as a supplement to their academic curriculum. If you are studying marketing, mass communications, or a related field and want to experience the fast-paced world of media sales first hand, then this is the place to learn! Requirements: Must be attending an accredited college or university Must be registered at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed and in a for credit internship course. Must be at least 18 years of age Students in their junior or senior year of college is preferred. Graduate students are also eligible. Must be available to work 10-20 hours a week. We will work within your university's requirements. Must have reliable transportation This is an unpaid internship. Internship time at WBFF FOX45 must be coordinated with the student's respective college or university for academic credit under the sponsorship of the educational faculty.
