RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of a Financial Analyst in Ashburn, Virginia (VA). Duties Include: Assists the Finance Directors in the development of the annual budget for the divisions by preparing budget templates and projections; Reviews and analyzes expense and income data monthly for year-end forecasts for several budget organizations and recommends corrective action during the year if needed; Prepares Unit budget reports for several areas, ad-hoc reports, and other requests for financial information Provides back-up to the Assistant Finance Director and the finance team in the Division of Development and Alumni; Assists in developing and leading training sessions for staff concerning financial policies and procedures and use of university systems Additionally, responsible for the daily financial transactions of the Provost Operations including expense report approvals and procurement REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
