For more information on UMBC visit: The successful candidate will report to the Electric Shop Supervisor in Facilities Management and will perform electrical work at the journeyman level and will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical service ranging from 120 volts to 13,200 volts. To learn more about our benefits click here . Department: Facilities Management/Electric Shop Responsibilities: The incumbent will perform electrical work at the journeyman level. Responsible for installing, operating and maintaining electrical service ranging from the main distribution system at 13,200 volts down to all low voltage services and performing other duties as assigned. Required Minimum Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and four years progressively responsible experience in the electrical trade, two years of which must have been in the installation, maintenance and repair of 13,200 volt service switch gear and feeder systems, controlling wiring, and motors and motor circuitry of 30 horsepower or more. Journeyman certification required. Valid non-commercial class "C" or equivalent driver's license required. Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience working on 13,200 volt distribution systems preferred. Closing Date: For best consideration submit applications by November 15, 2019.
