Terms of Employment W2 Contract: 12 Months Potential for extension up to 24 months. The team expects this will extend but mentioned this could change. nTech Benefits SnapshotHealth, Dental, and Vision Coverage 401(k) Short/Long Term Disability and Life Insurance x1.5 Overtime Pay the Team Rapid Response Team responsible for resolving ticket and response and related processes. of Tickets include, but not limited to, reviewing drives, clearing alerts, escort escalation, remote tokens, password resets, FAA reporting, etc. Work Schedule First : Thursday-Sunday & every other Wednesday: 6pm-6am Second : Thursday-Sunday & every other Wednesday: 6am-6pm On-Call Work: These roles will require on-call and shift/emergency work as needed. May require ability to work at night, off-hours, holidays, and weekends (on-call rotation). May require emergency on-site support during severe storm mobilization and electric system damage restoration. Primary responsibility is monitoring the availability of the Exelon IT Data Network and Server environment. include issue isolation and remediation to ensure minimal mean downtime to repair. include monitoring, correlating multiple alerts, and escalating out analysis of IT application issues as necessary to remediate issues in a proactive and reactive nature. Ability to follow documented processes. Perform initial network/server diagnostics and troubleshooting to remediate detected/reported incidents. Escalate issues as required. Perform scheduled configuration changes and infrastructure support. Work with groups within IT Infrastructure and IT Applications in resolving global and focal problem issues. Must be flexible with OT and shift changes. Maintain/update ITOC standard operating and escalation procedures, and other ITOC documentation as directed by leadership. Prepare IT network and systems performance reports and operating statistics as directed by ITOC leadership. Required Skills Demonstrated experience with Windows Server Experience with Cisco hardware and configuration. Familiarity with ITOC/NOC practices Experience with Microsoft Office suite Ability to work with internal IT clients of varying abilities Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to handle high pressure situations Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment Self-starting; willingness to take personal initiative Strong customer service skills Highly effective written and oral communication skills Preferred Skills ServiceNow experience Windows 7,10,2003,2008,2012; Linux RedHat (RHEL). Working knowledge of networking and security devices (eg routers, firewalls, intrusion detection). Ability to troubleshoot network / server issues based on received alerts or client input. Skills in troubleshooting and resolving problems with large-scale IT distributed systems. Ability to correlate problems with causes, and involve higher level technical personnel support personnel, as needed, for timely resolution of IT network and systems outages. Ability to compile operating data/statistics and prepare performance reports when requested. Working knowledge of IT network and systems management tools (experience with Microfocus Network Node Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager a plus).
