JustinBradley's client, a groundbreaking non-profit that supports more than 30 million people in over 25 nations, is looking to add a Senior Director of Finance & Compliance to their Washington, DC metro area headquarters. The Senior Director, embodying the organizations mission, will be responsible for directing the organization's accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax functions. Highlighted : Formalizes and documents accounting policies and procedures and ensures compliance. Manages and coaches the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Accounting staff in accordance with the organization's policies: plans, assigns, directs work, conducts the performance reviews and regularly held feedback meetings, addressing complaints and resolving problems Oversees the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of monitoring cash flow, payroll, all G/L activities and related compliance issues, to ensure the Company's finance function is organized and efficient. Oversees all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with accounting team, orchestrates all audit activity of staff supervised A well-qualified candidate will possess the following: Bachelor's Degree in related field CPA Ten plus years in accounting and/or corporate finance experience of which three to five years in a supervisory role.
