Lead Business Analyst Location: Frederick, MDDuration: 12 + months This is an exciting opportunity for an experiences Business Analyst to join a multi-year program. In this role, you will be supporting the design and development of a set of new core applications that will be replacing legacy systems. We are expecting comprehensive experience working with end users, developers, and other analysts to refine identified business needs through design reviews and elicitation sessions using a variety of proven techniques.:Act as key liaison, and point of contact to executive level stakeholders as well as concurrent product teamsPerform requirements gathering and analysis in order to provide high quality and detailed requirements, ensuring the closest involvement with, and agreement from, the user communityWork with business groups and product development team to create requirement documentsOwn joint analysis and design sessions with developers to understand needs of the customerCollaborate with developers and other analysts to ensure adherence to business requirements and customer needsAuthor and enter requirements/user stories into a requirements management tool, such as Top Team and JiraAs needed, review SDLC Development and Validation document(s) prior to authorization, to ensure that it incorporates previously-captured requirements, and includes tests or test steps that explicitly address each identified user requirement: Comprehensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting large, complex application or software development projects. Advanced experience writing detailed business requirements for complex projects, including the defining of scope. Be able to work with various team members including IT to ensure requirements are complete.Previous experience developing standardized requirements documentation templates.
