We are currently seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work in clinic based setting in Baltimore County (Pikesville) and home-based settings in and around Howard and Prince George counties. Summary: The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for assessing individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges and planning, developing and monitoring comprehensive treatment programs to improve behavior. As the lead member of the treatment team, the BCBA supervises other staff members and collaborates with family members, related service providers and other agencies, as appropriate. Responsibilities: Conducts initial and on-going behavioral assessments to analyze client behavior using appropriate assessment instruments (VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLS). Plans, develops and monitors skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans for new and established clients. Supervises and trains Developmental Specialists, Registered Behavioral Technicians, BCaBAs and BCBA candidates in pursuit of their certification. Plans for appropriate supervisory oversight for client sessions. Provides or observes client sessions taking notes and ensuring procedural integrity. Analyzes data gathered from client sessions to ensure client progress and makes modifications to programming based on this analysis. Consults with parents and provides them with progress notes, annual reviews and training on skills acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans. Collaborates with Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists and school personnel regarding the treatment strategies and progress of shared clients. Monitors clients' schedules to ensure insurance requirements are met and completes necessary paperwork for insurance purposes. Attends monthly professional development meetings and participates in Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for clients, as appropriate. Special projects and tasks, as required. Education/Experience: Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis or related field Certification from the Board of Behavior Analysts Licensed to practice by state(s) in which services are being provided At least 2 years' experience working with children with autism and special needs and developing and running behavior analytic programming in a variety of settings. Previous supervisory experience Experience with Microsoft Office Products and Google Suite Experience with electronic data collection A basic understanding of insurance guidelines and business practices associated with billable/non-billable time.
