General Overview : Premier Homecare has an immediate opening for Clinical Director to join our team. Our clinicians specialize in delivering comprehensive care management and home care services that allow older adults to live independently, and with dignity, in the comfort of their own homes. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Clinical Director oversees the clinical delivery of quality patient care through direct supervision of the field staff. S/he will develop and implement policies and procedures to insure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a homecare environment. Position Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred Active State of Maryland and DC nursing License Minimum of 2 years professional nursing experience home care, home health or hospice Previous management/supervisory experience required Effective and demonstrated business development experience, specifically working with internal partners and external referral sources and vendors Demonstrated professional, organized demeanor while multi-tasking and effectively, communicating both orally and in writing Competent in utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), EMRs and technology in general Knowledge of the clinical workflow in homecare industry strongly preferred Valid driver's license required Dependable transportation and the ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions is required.
