Top DC law firm is has a need for a Billing Analyst to be responsible for the Firm's billing functions including all activities necessary to produce and distribute proformas and final invoices for each assigned attorney in a timely and accurate fashion. Responsibilities will also include:
- Coordinate all the functions necessary to produce proformas
- Prepare invoices, research erroneous time and cost entries and make relevant transfers, make text edits, perform split billing, divide and combine entries, adjust unbilled time and cost entries, review invoices and make necessary corrections, update status reports
- Coordinate all functions related to e-billing, including set up of clients new to e-billing on appropriate e-billing software, as well as e-Billing Hub, maintain spreadsheets, coordinate rates being added to Elite
- Assist with other duties as assigned and special projects as assigned by the Senior Billing Manager
Requirements include a college degree in accounting or business related field and a minimum of five years of legal billing experience, which include at least three years utilizing Elite. E-Billing experience is required and billing hub experience is preferred. Candidate should also be proficient with MS Office. Candidate needs to be detail oriented, able to work quickly and accurately, and have strong communication and customer service skills. Some OT may be required.
