This individual will be responsible for a wide range of real property planning, planning and programming support for client's capital facilities program. The real property planner will provide support to a federal agency's real property program management office located in Washington, DC. Responsibilities Real property asset management - understanding and applying the best practices for managing real property life cycles from requirements generation, to real property planning, to acquisition, to operations and maintenance to disposal Facilities planning and development, including all phases (planning, programming, site analysis, environmental reviews, design, construction and operations). Qualifications 10+ years of experience in real property planning and lifecycle management. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus Understanding of planning and programming for real property requirements. Understanding and ability to apply best practices for developing Capital Investment Plans, Resource allocation plans, Budgets, and spend plans for real property requirements Familiar with the federal PPB&E process and associated documentation Understanding of how to apply program maturity models to assess and manage real property program health, to include being able to describe resourcing gaps through use of benchmarks and other techniques Ability to assess technical programs related to real property and recommend improvements (eg risk management, cost estimating, planning) Ability to facilitate meetings with senior leaders, both in person and remotely, to enhance collaboration and develop consensus Ability to develop clear and concise policy documents that align to best practices Comfortable with all types of stakeholders and working through conflicting organizational priorities Familiarity with GSA federal buildings fund and leasing programs is a plus Experience with facility management and RP data systems (eg TRIRIGA, Maximo) Demonstrated ability to effectively work in both a team environment and an independent setting. Professional Engineer, PMP, and/or CFM desired
