Now he's Vice President of Mortgage Lending for Guaranteed Rate Affinity, the leader of a high-performing team based in Alexandria, VA which he is now looking to grow. More specifically, Rob seeking to hire a Sales Assistant that will become an essential member of his mortgage team. This is an entry-level position, full-time position, that will report directly to the Regional Manager. Job Description The primary function of the Sales Assistant is to support and manage client engagement activities including some aspects of partner development. This position does not require experience in the mortgage industry, but will require an aptitude for the financial industry, and an ability to remain responsive to clients - even when working within a complicated underwriting process. Keep current on all licensing requirements and continuing education classes throughout year to maintain LO license Interview borrowers over the phone, take loan applications and schedule borrowers Back up Originator; work with new and past clients to lock loans & increase monthly production Pricing out loans in OB as needed for clients, quote rates, create Estimates/CCW's Score files through AUS - DU & LP Create file tabs and labels for all files Maintain positive, professional, helpful, friendly relationships with all real estate agents Enter complete and accurate data into Encompass & Print Encompass docs including CCW's etc. for borrowers to sign Assist Team with providing Commitment and Pre-approval Letters Create and email new listings and open house flyers to agents through rate plug & RAC daily when notified Submit Files to Investor for Bridge Loans a subordinate 2nd mortgages Register and Lock all BOND loans with registration, completing and assisting in getting all necessary disclosures/forms to specific Bond program Enter Client data in Contacts into Encompass to initiate follow-up Encompass Campaigns Enter Client data into Outlook for follow-up calls Assist with marketing flyers-open house flyers-create Dean's marketing packets Work with Marketing Dept. on lead generation marketing materials & flyers as requested Order all office supplies for team as needed; toner, pre-packs, brochures, etc Provide Marketing reports as needed Photo copy client data as needed-alt doc: paystubs, W2's, tax returns, bank statements, etc. during all appointments, etc.. Promptly return calls from borrowers and real estate agents Interview clients in person & take loan applications, send pre-approval letters, etc when Sr. LO is out of office Assist Team members with misc. tasks as requested-maintaining positive attitude Professional dress code required A strong commitment to customer service to sales associates and borrowers-is a must!!
