Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center is the leading independent musical instrument and equipment retailer throughout the DMV and celebrating our 61st year of family-owned operation in 2019. We are seeking an innovative and accomplished Brand Marketing Manager to homogenize our brand and facilitate uniform presentation and customer engagement across all platforms. This is a high-level executive position that will create and control marketing efforts as well as facilitate exceptional customer experiences. The Brand Marketing Manager will help set the tone for Washington Music Center's marketplace reputation and brand equity through the deliberate consolidation of advertising, brand identify, and customer interaction. Using online stores and social media channels, the Brand Marketing Manager will focus on content creation and consumer analytics to better connect Chuck Levin's to musicians around the world. Compensation based on experience and performance. Responsibilities: Create and refine the Chuck Levin's social media voice and establish social media guidelines. Create and promote engaging and effective content that targets customers through each phase of the buying cycle. Work with creative resources to produce and promote content that aligns with the Chuck Levin's brand identity across digital and physical formats. Collect and utilize relevant data to guide the Chuck Levin's E-Commerce and brick-and-mortar teams to effectively reach our audiences. Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors/manufacturers to cross-promote content, raise and utilize co-op spend, and establish unique sales/promotions. Create and maintain the Chuck Levin's marketing calendar. Provide content editorial oversight. Develop marketing budget. Develop and launch marketing campaigns. Leverage marketing budget to elevate and promote products through channels such as Google shopping. Establish KPI's, measure and report on marketing campaigns and objectives. Lay the groundwork for CRM implementation. Utilize email marketing platforms to launch email campaigns. Represent the company at local festivals, and both in-store and offsite events. Other tasks/responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience. 2+ years in a professional marketing position. A passion for curating and delivering exceptional customer experiences. A go-getter attitude with no fear of rolling up your sleeves and pitching in wherever necessary. Experience working in a collaborative environment - coordinating with multiple teams to ensure seamless project completion. Experience with email marketing tools such as ActiveCampaign and Mailchimp. Experience with Facebook Business manager, Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. Experience with Google Analytics. Experience developing, launching and reporting on successful marketing campaigns. Advanced knowledge of SEO and SEM. Proficient with graphic design and editing software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service related tools. Industry knowledge of best practices and trending movements as it pertains to marketing and social media. Experience as a musician or within the music industry is strongly preferred. Experience managing a team of employees is strongly preferred.
