We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our growing client in Alexandria, VA! This is a full-time, permanent role responsible for supporting data operations for the development and integration of artificial intelligence and cloud solutions. Work closely with the software development team in a collaborative, Agile environment to manage, manipulate, store and parse data of computer vision and other applications.Job Responsibilities:Extract, transform and standardize data to prepare for ingest into machine learning development environments.Design and develop data services and/or pipelines.Support continuous process automation for data ingest.Support the development and integration of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for testing and operational deployment.Support Data enterprise for ML development.Job Requirements:A " ?Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Clearance.3-5 years of hands-on work experience in one of the related areas: Data Science or Computer Science.Experience parsing / ETL-ing data into a variety of formats for ML applications, Test & Validation, metrics derivation.Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and statistics as they apply to Data Science.Proficiency with Python programming language to extract and manipulate data.Strong experience in a Linux environment.Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.Experience with R or Shell scripting is a plus.
