RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Project Manager, Internal Communications in Bethesda, Maryland (MD). Essential Functions: Develop and implement a project plan for the MGS Conversion with a focus on schedule, budget, and to the quality standards required by the department Other key deliverables include develop and implementation of project plans for: Technology Changes Migration of MGS pages Change Management (ie, Training of Content Owners) Overall Communications Proactively identify and recommend strategies to mitigate risks that could potentially negatively impact project schedule, budget, or quality using established frameworks such as RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Document and manage the execution of action items and next steps following team meetings using established frameworks such as RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) Utilize project management software to track projects for accurate reporting and forecasting Establish a detailed knowledge and ability to deliver on projects through close coordination with internal team disciplines Coordinate and document all milestones Share best practices and lessons learned to promote continuous product and process improvement Perform other projects/assignments based on business needs/demands REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required Applicable professional licenses/certifications, preferred (eg, PMP certification) Minimum 8 - 10 years of demonstrated work experience in project management and change management activities of large-scale, global, technology-related projects Demonstrated experience in developing project schedules, allocating resources, estimating time and costs, and planning and sequencing activities as well as tracking and reviewing project documents Demonstrated experience in budget forecasting and developing monthly project reports Demonstrated ability to identify and monitor risks and issues as well as devise a plan to mitigate those risks or solve the issues within an appropriate timeframe Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, communications skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships as well as negotiate and be flexible, when appropriate Excellent collaborator who is comfortable navigating through conflicts Ability to lead a project through influence Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-centric environment Ability to prioritize and balance workload Proficiency in utilizing mobile application platforms across multiple devices Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products, Project & Database Management Software (eg, Microsoft Project) Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
