ACCOUNTING / OFFICE MANAGER Department: Accounting/Operations Supervisor Title: Director of Operations Status: Full-time, Benefits, 8.5 hour work day, flexible work schedule Nature of the Position: Performs Accounts Receivable duties as well as other accounting/managerial tasks to include: Prepares deposits and enters payments (credit cards and live checks) in JURIS billing system. Generates and reviews A/R reports. Reviews and enters vendor invoices for timely payment. Prepares bank reconciliations for checking accounts. Allocates charges and reconciles corporate credit card accounts. Writes checks when needed. Oversees petty cash disbursements. Makes journal entries and adjustments for GL allocations, credit card purchases, and other bank reconciliation items. Maintains backups for computer servers. Acts as primary contact with JURIS for system problems/questions. Schedules IT assistance. Interacts with building management in various situations. Resolves issues/discrepancies. Assists with HR interviews and employee reviews. Covers front desk phones when necessary. Files and organizes accounting information. Performs other duties as assigned. Works in partnership with department co-workers. Cross trains where necessary. Upholds WC&B values and culture. QUALIFICATIONS Education: College graduate Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including a clear and courteous telephone manner and good writing skills. Well organized with attention to detail . Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel , Quickbooks - Juris accounting software knowledge a plus.
