Mid-sized, private equity backed services company located in the DC market is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Operations finance due to continued growth of the company. The Senior Manager of Operations Finance will report to the VP of Operations Finance and work closely with the C-suite and operations management in driving business decisions for the organization. Specifically, this role will: Develop business cases, including financial and nonfinancial information, to assess the profitability of proposed business scenarios Act as a business partner to provide financial modeling and analysis in order to provide financial support and insight Lead operations finance in the monthly reporting and analysis of financial results Participate in strategy discussions and execution Create and report on KPIs and project profitability drivers Plan, coordinate and execute the annual budget process Identify opportunities to streamline processes, create efficiencies, and reduce operating costs where possible Review product and project profitability and make recommendations where needed Manage, mentor, and develop a staff Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed Work collaboratively with various departments including accounting, IT, legal, and general operations The Senior Manager of Operations Finance must possess the following: Bachelor's degree required MBA strongly preferred 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including prior project finance experience Excellent analytical capabilities Prior experience working closely with operations and senior leadership Strong business acumen
