Our Big 4 client is currently seeking a Project Support Specialist to help support their Global Implementation of Salesforce. **This is a remote opportunity. Candidates a preferred to sit in the Eastern or Central time zones** The Project Support Specialist will execute day to day technical project office support in conjunction with the Project Coordinator. This role is responsible for the completion of the security risk procedures, project calendar management and data quality procedures that need to be managed within the team. The Project Support Specialist will report directly to the Program Director and Integration Lead as well as working closely with the rest of the workstream leads. The team also encompasses technical writers and a technical communications coordinator. The Project Support Specialist will assist where needed to ensure communications and documentation is delivered as per plan. Strategic & Technical Orientation / Job Content This role requires a highly organized and resourceful individual. Knowledge of software development methodologies and risks. This role will: Prepare and coordinate the relevant risk management procedures for new/existing apps Ensure that all risk documentation is developed and kept current. Document meetings and arising issues and actions. Develop a workstream project plan and ensure it is maintained and up to date Support data quality processes for the team Require the ability to operate in a fast paced, dynamic organization. Range of Impact Direction and Discretion - The candidate works in a collaborative manner with all leads and project staff throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), as appropriate. They may work independently on small projects or participate on a work stream of a large project with other Project Managers. They influence others within the whole project team using technical expertise to identify and address project issues. Scope of responsibility To manage prescribed deliverables for the project To contribute well thought out recommendations to improve project/process effectiveness. Responsibilities Work with the Network Integrated Security team to ensure compliance with the Global Information Security Policy (ISP) Support the lead, in developing status reports including management reports Document meetings and arising issues and actions. Ensure that risk documentation is developed and kept current. Identifies areas of improvement and change management and suggests innovative ways to address them Develops project plan structure including identification of project phases and creates the project plan template Performs project plan maintenance to incorporate updates and changes to the master project plan Requirements Undergraduate Degree (eg, BA, BS) or equivalent experience 2 - 5 Years Experience Possess a basic understanding of project management methodologies. Basic knowledge of Big 4 Consulting business and business strategy. Basic knowledge of IT practices, processes and procedures. Have excellent planning and organization skills. Possess strong interpersonal skills. Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite. Additional Information: The candidate should be located in CST or EST time zones and have the ability to work across global time zones. We will consider PST if the candidate is willing to work EST and global hours (not ideal, however).
