Position Description The Full Stack Developer provides frontend and backend development support for the Portal team on the EPC contract. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in some of the following: J2EE or Node.JS with RESTful services for the backend, and HTML5 and JavaScript for the front end. The individual will work in an agile environment to support short sprints and rapid delivery of releases. Role and Responsibilities Responsible for developing RESTful servicesResponsible for the development of web pages using single page architecture designResponsible for integrating web pages to RESTful APIsResponsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient codeParticipate in the full application lifecycle using Agile methodologiesActively collaborate with the cross functional teams such as Requirements, Testing and Infrastructure TeamsPro-actively participate in daily development activities, be able to estimate detail design and development efforts, and adhere to development timelines specified by the scheduleUtilize/promote best practices, including reusable code Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field4 years of experience developing RESTful services, using NodeJS or J2EE and/or Springboot4 years of experience with Typescript, JavaScript and JavaScript related utilities4 years of experience developing in HTML5 or the equivalent and React2 years of Unit Testing experience2 years of DevOps (CI/CD) experience, including use of distributed version control systems such as GitLab/GitHub/BitBucket2 years of experience with Agile development methodologies, Scrum and KanbanExperience with unit test frameworks such as Mockito, Junit, Jasmin, or Karma Desired Education and Experience US citizen or a Green Card holderHealth Care Industry or CMS experience2 year of experience with Angular5 or higher2 years of experience with AWS environmentsExperience with continuous delivery and integration tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.Oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiencesAnalytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sourcesWorks well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment For more than 50 years, General Dynamics Information Technology has served as a trusted provider of information technology, systems engineering, training, and professional services to customers across federal, state, and local governments, and in the commercial sector.
