Energize your career at Exelon! PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Exelon''s content lab develops strategic, innovative, engaging communications supporting our companywide brand strategy. The senior graphic designer makes it possible for Exelon to tell our story with cutting-edge design through modern and visually appealing print and digital communications products, including industry leading digital and social media graphics, infographics and data visualizations working with Exelon content lab writers and Exelon colleagues to report substance of graphics, compelling internal and external design products, gif animation, interactive digital landing pages, and multi-media design for various digital platforms. Ability to interpret and translate complex storytelling, marketing, and other initiative goals and objectives into compelling, creative design is a must. The position is responsible for all aspects of Exelon''s design template system for internal clients, including client support and front-end platform development, and the position serves as the point person for Exelon''s digital asset management system. Candidates must be adept at project management and be deadline oriented. Ability to work collaboratively on communications projects with internal and external clients necessary. The position provides artistic direction to photographers, illustrators and vendors. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Execute a wide range of digital design work, including industry leading digital and social media graphics, infographics and data visualizations working with Exelon content lab writers and Exelon colleagues to report substance of graphics, compelling internal and external design products, gif animation, interactive digital landing pages, and multi-media design for various digital platforms. Demonstrate expertise in digital and print design principles and best practices. 2. The position is responsible for all aspects of Exelon''s design template system for internal clients, including client support and front-end platform development, and the position serves as the point person for Exelon''s digital asset management system. 3. Participate or lead creative brainstorming. Work with clients to establish best solutions for their communications, ensure brand adherence, and ensure timelines and budgets stay on track. 4. Mentor junior team members in creating innovative design approaches, assist in training new designers in Exelon Communications'' corporate brand guidelines. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: * 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in digital design, artistic design, and layout. Demonstrated experience in graphic design hardware and software, including Adobe CS, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and XD. * Experience and skill in applying design principles and methods, standard graphics applications, front-end design experience in WordPress or similar, UX, formulating/finalizing web pages, and producing wireframes for interactive multi-media packages. * Proven ability to work across operating system platforms, including mobile, and online ad networks, including Facebook. * Desire to thrive in a collaborative environment and the ability to manage multiple projects, both short- and long-term, within tight deadlines. * At least 4-5 years of experience managing client relationships, communicating effectively in a group, and a self-starter. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with all levels of corporate management. * Ability to willingly and readily find solutions to client demands and introduce new technologies that could be beneficial to the team. * Outstanding multi-tasking/time management skills. * In-depth knowledge of design, communications, marketing and branding. * Strong design skills for print, web, multimedia and email. * Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office--including Word, Excel and PowerPoint--as well as basic knowledge of HTML, CSS. * Familiar with time tracking, SharePoint, SFTP clients, asset management and project man by Jobble
