2019-2021 Project Manager, Mason Internationalization Collaborative

The Mason Internationalization Collaborative seeks a Project Manager to support George Mason's internationalization efforts in accordance with the American Council on Education's (ACE) Internationalization Laboratory. The incumbent will take an active role in planning and logistical aspects for the committee. This is a part-time wage position, rate commensurate with experience. Workload will vary, but expected to average around 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities * Serve as primary contact for executive and steering committee/subcommittee meetings and logistics (e.g. sending agendas, relevant articles, meeting documents in advance of meetings, etc.); * Take minutes at all committee and subcommittee meetings; organize notes and return to committee members as needed; * Collect/track benchmarking data from peer and aspirant institutions; * Research emerging trends relative to themes discussed as part of the ACE strategic planning process; * Assist with interviews and compile data needed to complete self-study; * Attend ACE cohort meetings in D.C. as well as ACE webinars and all relevant on-campus committee meetings; * Serve on the strategic planning implementation task force; * Assist with drafting the final ACE report (in coordination with the ACE executive committee); and * Create and maintain ACE website (in coordination with the ACE tri-chairs).

Required Qualifications * Excellent written and oral communication skills; * Experience with administrative support tasks; * Website design and maintenance (non-technical); * Interest in higher education internationalization; and * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
