job summary:Client is searching for a Director of Human Resources to be the sole HR practitioner reporting directly to the President and CEO. The incumbent will provide the full suite of HR support services to an organization with a committed and dedicated staff of 25. Work Location: Calverton, MD Summary of Position : Provides management and oversight of company's HR and Employment services and activities and assists in the development and implementation of company HR policies and procedures. The Human Resources Director administers human resources programs including, but not limited to the hire to retire cycle, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; and training and development. location: Beltsville, Marylandjob type: Permanentsalary: $80,000 - 85,000 per yearwork hours: 8 to 5education: Bachelor's degreeexperience: 7 Years responsibilities: Summary of Duties : Benefits Administration - Manage employee benefits programs and services and monitor for competitiveness, effectiveness, and cost containment.Employee Relations and HR Policies / Procedures - Support employee relations practices necessary to maintain IANA's positive employer-employee relationships and continue to promote a high level of employee morale.Compliance Monitoring - Keep management informed of legal requirements and government reporting regulations impacting the human resources functions including COBRA, OSHA, FLSA, EEO, ERISA, I-9 immigration compliance, unemployment benefits.
