CHENEGA SYSTEMS Company Job Title: Quality Control Technician Clearance: Background Check Location: Alexandria, VA Reports To: Project Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time, Temporary Summary: The Quality Control (QC) Technician will support a large government agency in Alexandria, VA. The QC Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, testing of products, as well as recording and analyzing results gathered during development and production in the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out inspections to meet the standards set by the organizationFocus on corrective actions in order to make sure the products meet specificationsMaintain all documentation for the purpose of auditingWork with the Quality Control Supervisor regarding specific information related to product information and productionConstant updating of job knowledge by reading specific information related to product information and productionFind solutions to customers' complaints and feedbackWrite reports and submit to the quality control managerAssist to check and update quality control policiesOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) High school diploma/GED required1 years relevant quality control experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including visual basic programming and macro generationMust be able to produce customized report utilizing data available from integrated computer systems in CSV, txt and XML formatsExcellent interpersonal and good communication skills which include the ability to teach and explain methodologies Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
