Human Resources Business Partner
The American Society of Microbiology (ASM) is looking for the ideal candidate to join our team! The HRBP will be responsible for providing human resources management and guidance to all employees and management of designated departments/divisions within the organization.A' The HRBP will partner with senior leadership to develop and communicate policies and implement workflow and processes.ESSENTIAL/GENERAL FUNCTIONSPartner with organizational leadership to align human resources strategy with business objectivesServe as a trusted advisor, building deep relationships across all levels of the organization, from employees to leadershipHelp management strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their daily operationsPerform internal reviews and conducts audits of current systems and policies regularlyAssist with employee retention programs and special eventsEnsure business practices are in accordance with human resource policies and labor laws.Maintain updated salary and job description informationFacilitate/Conduct all recruiting efforts for the designated divisionsImplement recruitment, new hire orientation, on-boarding and applicant tracking systemsProvide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulationsAssist with HR-related projectsManage all employee relation issues, performance management and corrective action within designated divisionsAssist with payroll, status changes and HRIS documentation and reportingA' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A' MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of five years of HR Generalist experience in a large organizationPHR or SPHR certificationA' preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office productsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional presentation skillsThe ability to effectively communicate at all levels of theA' organizationOrganizational and career development experienceExperience with employee relations and labor lawsASM offers a competitive salary as well as an exceptional benefits package.
