Overview Allied Reliability is seeking a Facilities Technician II for a short-term, temporary project in Elkton, MD. This position is responsible for the repairing and overseeing of the maintenance on equipment and plant facilities to ensure functional accuracy and completeness. Responsibilities Associate is responsible for but not limited to: process controls, calibration and maintenance procedures, document/data control, and change control practices. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on building systems and facility equipment including water system, fire and security system, air compressors, etc. Comply with EPA and OSHA for hazardous waste control and disposal. Comply with Federal, state and local regulations for maintaining water and sewer system. Oversee that all preventative maintenance and assigned work is completed. Perform general repairs and work order requests. Assist facility personnel in other occupations as needed Prepare and maintain logs, monthly reports, inventory reports, etc., as needed. Participate in project performance team meetings on behalf of the job unit in order to provide ideas, methods or processes for unit/company performance improvement. Perform other job related duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, electronic symbols, hydraulic operations, etc. Knowledge of welding, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, water systems, compressed air, etc. Computer and record-keeping knowledge is necessary. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, federal, state and local regulations. Verbal and written communication skills and good organizational ability. Background Experience: High School Diploma/GED required Associate's Degree or Trade School Certificate in related HVAC applications, ie, Electronics/Electricity, etc. preferred *MON*
