Restaurant Team Member (Sandwich Artists)Our Team Members are known as Sandwich Artist. We build beautiful sandwiches right in front of our guests, so you will be the face of the business. This requires a friendly and enthusiastic personality. You should also enjoy having fun and helping others from customers to team members. The ideal candidates will be available to work on any day from Sunday through Saturday. This is a flexible full-time or part-time position to primarily serve our lunch or dinner guests. You should be able to take direction and complete tasks with a sense of urgency.The Sandwich Artist(R) performs a variety of duties relating to Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) - They greet and serve guests, prepare food, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.Have the ability to be cross trained in all front of the house & back of the house duties.Prepares food neatly and accurately using quick hand motions. Attention to detail is necessary.Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains it to guests accurately. Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner when accommodating guests.Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and computes the amount of the bill, collects payment from guests and makes change. Accounts for all forms of money, bread, etc. during the shift.Understands and adheres to all quality standards and formulas. Cleans as directed.Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards while preparing food, serving food, and clean up.Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards.Completes online coursework on the University of SUBWAY(R) as directed.Qualifications & SkillsYou must be at least 16 years old to work with us.Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.Ideal candidates will have at least 1-year of Experience in QSR or Fast Casual restaurant environment.
