This opportunity is for an in-house position with one of Sage's government clients. Appropriate applications will be forwarded to the hiring manager for further consideration. Overview The Marketing Account Executive will sit on-site at one of Sage's government client offices in Washington, DC. This position will support a range of marketing and communication needs including content development for marketing materials, website, and social media; participation in internal meetings and events; and coordination between the client and Sage's internal teams for additional graphic support as needed. Responsibilities Write content for promotional materials, social media and e-newsletters Event planning, such as, but not limited to: Outreach, registration, RSVPs, run of show Create and publish written website and visual content using Adobe Creative Suite and client's website CMS Produce original written content for website, storytelling, and articles Manage client relationships and provide day-to-day support for assigned tasks Develop in-depth understanding of the client, their products, goals, competitors and customers, becoming the subject matter expert who leads Sage's internal team in understanding and translating effective marketing strategies Collaborate with other team members, both on client and agency side, to develop and present strategic and tactical plans Build relationship and trust with client in order to lead the account rather than just take orders Work with internal client team (Sage) to help drive campaigns and strengthen client relationships Act as a liaison within the client team, to work seamlessly with the full Sage team (advertising, public relations, social media, strategy, creative, interactive, copy, etc.) to ensure the completion of projects Demonstrate dedication, passion and commitment to work in an agency environment and onsite with client Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Deliver quality materials on time and on budget Assist with status calls and client meetings as needed Qualifications Startup mentality. Experience 2-5+ years experience supporting marketing initiatives Ability to take a project from concept to completion with minimal oversight Success in working both independently and as part of a team Ability to demonstrate the value of integrated marketing strategies to business stakeholder Digital marketing experience or knowledge Adobe Creative Suite experience or knowledge Basic understanding of technology CMS experience or knowledge, ie Drupal, WordPress Track record of creating campaigns, working within media and social media Because this position involves work on a federal government contract, you must be a US citizen or national (residents of American Samoa and Swains Island).
