BFG Financial Advisors is looking for an experienced Investment Operations Associate who is highly motivated, has a strong familiarity with financial planning and wealth management operations, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to keep pace in a fast moving environment. BFG Financial Advisors is an independent, boutique firm located north of the Baltimore metro in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland. The firm provides financial planning and wealth management advice to high-income and high-net-worth families. This position would fit an individual who enjoys working within a quickly growing company and supporting a dynamic team of financial professionals. Responsibilities Providing support, tracking, and client service for investment-related transactions and accounts Managing multiple investment processes concurrently and gaining significant knowledge in the areas of financial and investment planning Running various portfolio and holdings reports as requested by the lead advisors Communicating periodic investment performance, including cost basis and realized gains and losses Creating investment proposals for client accounts and implementing advice of the lead and support financial advisors Preparing investment account applications and other investment-related paperwork Interfacing with the broker-dealer or custodian to open new accounts, update account information, fill out necessary forms and perform routine tasks such as transferring funds, beneficiary maintenance, and other client requests Preparing performance reports and account summaries for client meetings Answering client inquiries and providing account information and reporting Other responsibilities as assigned by the lead advisors Requirements Minimum 5 years in brokerage firm or independent planning firm required Securities licenses (Series 6 or 7) preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required Working knowledge of e-Money software a plus Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus Please visit our website at www.bfgfa.com to learn more about us.
