Liberty Group is a commercial construction company based in Rockville MD, specializing in healthcare build-outs in the DMV area. We are looking to hire a full-time Project Manager who can take on managing several projects while being the client's primary contact during the construction phase. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Liberty's Project Managers are responsible for all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals and procurement. You're accountable for scheduling and facilitating project meetings, supervising and managing project teams, providing general administrative and technical leadership for the project, maintaining all project records and monitoring correspondence, as well as supervising the close out of a project. Liberty Group is expanding very quickly and we are eager to bring on someone who has the skill and determination to maintain our reputation as a quality builder and grow with us. Responsibilities Set project timeline Monitor project deliverables Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress Work with our trade partners to finalize their scopes and evaluate their bid packages in the pre-construction phase, and then coordinate their work Utilize PM software such as Procore and Microsoft Project to track financials and schedule Assist with developing, preparing and distributing documents, correspondence and materials required within the scope of the coordination of various projects Processing project documentation, including the issuance of change orders and RFIs Track financials through all phases of a project - from the bid phase to turnover. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field. Graduate degree in engineering or business a plus. Strong business acumen in project planning and management 5-7 years construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large scale construction highly preferred. Experience with healthcare projects and LEED Accreditation a plus. Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish. Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team; minimum 2 years supervisory experience. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Passion for the work and industry a must.
