Position Description: Join CGI's dynamic team charged with developing and modernizing the IT systems for a Federal agency that helps make affordable housing a reality for millions of Americans. Bring your talent to a brand new opportunity to help the federal government modernize a suite of applications in the mortgage backed securities market. As a Systems Security Analyst, you will serve as the principal advisor on all security matters. You will take a lead role in ensuring the security of applications as they are modernized and support the client's compliance with Federal cybersecurity directives and policies. Your future duties and responsibilities: * Work with the development team to incorporate security considerations into the design of new applications * Create and execute application penetration testing to determine application vulnerabilities * Provide remediation guidance for any identified vulnerabilities to the development team * Ensure new or altered functionality introduced by the development team adheres to all security standards established by the client and reflected in the NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP guidelines. * Develop security authorization and accreditation (SA&A) artifacts as required * Assist with the achievement of an Authority to Operate (ATO) designation by developing a system security plan, security risk assessment, security test and evaluation plan, business impact analysis, system impact analysis, and contingency plan Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Familiarity with working in a DevSecOps environment * Familiar with all Federal security requirements * Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols * Prior experience working in a Federal development environment * Demonstrated experience with the SA&A and ATO processes * Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral); able to concisely communicate security risks to both technical and business audiences. * Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or related field/equivalent experience Desired qualifications * Security certifications (eg CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISSM, etc.) #CGIFEDERALCYBERJOB #LI-RS1 Skills: * Analytical Thinking * Business Acumen * Communication (Oral/Written) * Leadership * DevOps What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
