Work Description: Prepare and insure completion of all general ledger entries supporting the month end close. Perform various account reconciliations, compute ratios and metrics and prepare meaningful written analysis. Prepare monthly financial statements. Project set up and maintenance in Cost Point (ERP) System. Provide assistance of fixed asset accounting program. Reconcile perpetual records, inventory control, and review and analyze manufacturing variances. Assist with SOX compliance-providing written procedures and flow diagrams. Assist with budget and forecast process. Prepare reports, charts and graphs that present TESI's financial information. Prepare monthly and bi-weekly government contract billings. Assist with year-end audits and preparation of tax & government data packages. Must be willing to work one weekend per month. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated self-motivation as well as good problem solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills encompassing direct interaction with all levels throughout the company, report writing, and presentation skills. Must have strong PC skills in developing and maintaining MS Excel spreadsheets (Pivot Tables and V-Lookup, for example). Education and Experience required: BS degree in Accounting or BS degree in Business Administration or Finance with a concentration/experience in Accounting 8+ year's relevant exp. with emphasis in general ledger, month end closings, account reconciliations, and financial statement maintenance, preparation and analysis according to US GAAP. Experience with forecasting and budgeting. Demonstrated exp. in government accounting and/or a manufacturing background. Education and Experience desired: CostPoint software knowledge a plus Government accounting knowledge a plus
