GDIT has a future opportunity for a Senior Scrum Master with strong Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience needed to lead a 50+ person ServiceNow team in support of a large Federal Client. Successful candidate will have extensive background in implementing SAFe core values while managing multiple Agile Release Trains (ART). Collaborate across the enterprise, encourage, empower, and motivate scrum teams, engage with key stakeholders from the client and vendor community, ensure active participation from product owners. Help mature release management, backlog grooming, and testing processes. Organize and implement program governance to ensure consistent methodology while enabling and supporting rapidly changing requirements. Roles & Responsibilities Use Scaled Agile Frameward (SAFe), Scrum, and Kanban development methodologies to guide ITSM focused software development teams to deliver product enhancements, new ServiceNow modules, and custom applications. Provide leadership throughout the SDLC. Serve as coach and mentor to mid-level development teams. Establish effective organizational structure for gathering user stories, grooming backlog, managing velocity, ensuring quality, and standardizing testing. Manage dev/test/prod instances of ServiceNow. Collect metrics on team performance to manage project health for trend analysis, data-driven decisions, performance analytics, etc. Help transform the organization from waterfall to SAFe. Full portfolio management Experience BS or equivalent; Computer Science field or similar preferred 5-10 years' Leading high performance Application Development and Technical Project management teams 2-4 Years ServiceNow sustainment and application development experience preferred Strong understanding of SAFe, ITIL, and Kanban methodologies Deep understanding and experience with application development and structural Risk and Issues Management Good understanding of IT Operations and Infrastructure in both Cloud, Virtualized and On-Premises environments Experience with Agile/DevOps toolchains: Jira, Github, Jenkins, etc. Manages day-to-day Projects and Tasks associated with the Implementation and Development of Service Now. Demonstrates extensive leadership, management experience and judgment to establish an environment that is conducive to successful customer experience. Introduce and implement technical innovations, drive account growth though thought leadership and strategic vision to accomplish goals.
